Reduce Cellulite: Your Plan Of Attack

If you are one of the millions of women who have spent money on cellulite creams and lotions, let me ask you a question … did they work?

For your sake, I hope they did, because no woman wants cellulite, on their thighs, rear ends or anywhere. The fact is, cellulite is present on just about every woman over the age of puberty, and there are hereditary factors at play as well. Some of us, though, have more visible cellulite than others.

And for those of you that have plunked down your hard earned cash for so-called miracle cellulite solutions that haven’t worked, let’s talk about real solutions. It’s very easy to buy into hype. Unfortunately, hype doesn’t have staying power. If you’re finding your cellulite has staying power though, here’s some straight talk facts and an action plan to finally reduce cellulite.

First off, cellulite is fat. There, we said it. Cellulite is fat just like any other fat, except it usually looks worse. Even though we’re bombarded every day by marketing messages claiming an instant miracle cure to melt away fat, all those pie in the sky promises do is leave you disillusioned and disappointed.

If you’re finally ready to get past the instant cure mindset, you can indeed significantly reduce cellulite. Will getting results mean changing your lifestyle? Yes, probably. Will reducing cellulite mean you’ll have to work at it a bit? Definitely. But if you carry through with a sound, reasonable action plan, will you see the results you want? Absolutely!

OK … here’s an action plan to help you reduce cellulite, once and for all. First, let’s talk about your diet. Not a diet, YOUR diet. Don’t go on a fad diet that says you have to eat celery and carrot sticks (you get the point). That’s not reasonable and you won’t stick with it. My recommendation is to change your lifestyle gradually. Eliminate one fast food meal per week and pack a healthy lunch instead. Substitute a glass of water for that latte or soda once per day. Little changes add up over the course of time. If your goal is more near term, implement these changes more quickly.

Next, you’ll need to commit to some aerobic activity. It really isn’t that hard, and we’ve got an easy to follow, but challenging, treadmill workout that’ll really burn calories and tone your problem cellulite areas. Here goes …

Plan for a 45 minute treadmill workout. If you’re just starting or have restrictions, substitute walking for running in our example. A friend and I have been doing this workout for 6 months, and it’s an outstanding fat burning workout. For the most part, you’ll break up the 45 minutes into 5 minute intervals to keep things fun, fresh, and challenging. Spend the 45 workout doing this:

1. 5 minute warm up walk at whatever speed works for you.

2. 5 minute walk at the same speed but with the treadmill incline at 5 degrees.

3. 5 minute jog, incline at 5 degrees, at a speed that requires you to jog.

4. 5 minute walk at treadmill incline 5 degrees.

At this point, you’ve completed 20 minutes, your heart rate is up, and you’re warmed up. Excellent! Now it’s time for 15 minutes of interval training. This will be more challenging, but should be easy to do since it’ll be in 3 minute increments. 3 minutes x 5 intervals = 15 minutes.

Interval One: Run/Jog 1 minute at treadmill incline 6 degrees. Now walk two minutes, reducing speed but leaving the treadmill incline at 6.

Interval Two: Run/Jog 1 minute at incline 7 degrees, walk 2 minutes at incline 7.

Interval Three: Run/Jog 1 minute at incline 8 degrees, walk 2 minutes at the same incline.

Interval Four: Run/Jog 1 minute at incline 9 degrees, walk 2 minutes also at 9 degrees.

Interval Five: Run/Jog 1 minute at incline 10 degrees, walk 2 minutes at incline 10.

You’ve now done 35 minutes. It’s time to start cooling down!

5 minute walk at incline 5 degrees.

Finally, a 5 minute cool down walk with no incline.

That’s 45 minutes, and you’ve gotten a great fat burning workout, with particular emphasis on your cellulite problem areas (thighs and rear end). The best part about this workout is it’s easily adaptable. Make it harder or easier according to your fitness level.

Also, this workout keeps you engaged and involved, and you’ll find the time will move quickly, as opposed to simply walking or jogging at the same speed, which can seem an eternity. Combined with some healthier eating habits, performing this fat blasting workout three times per week will reshape your body in ways you’ve never dreamed possible!

raw food diet appears to be a throwback to the early days of our civilization when just about everyone had a garden. Now this plan is similar to a vegetarian diet because most of foods come from plants. Drinks consist of only a few options. Water of course is a main part of the diet. You won’t have to worry about getting eight glasses a day since most vegetables have a major water component to them. Fruit juices that are 100% juice can be consumed along with smoothies and the coconut milk.

It is hardly surprising that people lose weight on the raw vegetable diet. You can eat vegetables all day long and because of the low calorie count you’ll drop weight. One of the complaints is that the food and the diet can be rather bland because there’s no cooking

The good news is that there are variations of the plan. Oftentimes people at processed grains in some cooked vegetables only in moderation. Others will throw in some chicken Little Fish and other lean meat. Sometimes only sushi, uncooked fish, is added.

participants in the raw food diet plan consume all of their necessary protein from nuts and legumes. if you are an exercise fanatic, however, you may find yourself running out of energy on this diet and extra calories might be needed. One serving of whole grain bread moves that unwanted fat through the digestive system fast. These grains turn into blood sugar that spike the body’s nayural insulin level. Thus, they make the body more energized and are ready to tell the body when it should stop burning fats or start storing energy. Also, cut down on salt intake as salt is known to make a person feel hungrier.

- Keep away from fried foods especially deep-fried as this contains a great amount of fat. Although fish and chicken appear leaner than beef, this white meat can contain more fat than when beef is fried. Grilled food is always recommended as this will always contain less amount of fat after the food is cooked.

- Fluid intake is important. Consuming at least eight glasses of water every day will keep the body well refreshed. Fast weight loss depends on how the body eliminates body wastes and therefore plenty of water must go through the system.

All in all, discipline and consistency with a solid weight loss plan is still the best practice and the key to a rapid weight loss success. Light dieting and workout applied in a regular way everyday will result in faster weight loss than having a massive action only to be followed a return to old habits as this would only lead to gaining more weight than when the weight loss plan has started.

For some reason, soy milk promotes the production of estrogen in your body which is very bad if you have man boobs. As you can probably already guess, I stopped drinking soy milk immediately. So if your drink soy milk and you have man boobs, stop drinking it immediately.

So, I did promise you that I would tell you something to add to your diet. Have you ever heard of a spice called curry? If you have ever had food from the Asian continent, you have probably tried curry. Dishes such as curry chicken, curry lamb and penang chicken are real popular. Well the curry spice contains a substance know as turmeric which has been used for centuries to treat obesity. It has also been used to treat man boobs. So, why not give it a try. You do not have to stop eating every day in order to lose weight. Even for myself keeping with a low carbohydrate or low fat diet is not at all an easy task to accomplish, as you well know.

Another way to get your metabolic rate higher is to take “Stimulants”. Japanese studies have proven that caffeine and green tea are both stimulants. The results show that a person who drinks green tea daily will burn 70 more calories than someone who doesn’t drink green tea. There are lots of easy ways to speed up your metabolism rate.

Keep yourself hydrated. Drinking a lot of water throughout the day can keep you hydrated. It can also limit your appetite especially if you drink a glass before a meal.

Salad

Eat salad. It makes a lot of sense to serve salads before the main meal. This is because salads are rich in fiber. Some salad greens also contain water. This makes them perfect suppressants.

Coffee

Coffee can also help you cut your appetite. You do have to take it moderately though. Drink only one or two cups a day and make sure that your creamer is non-fat. If you are able to take unsweetened coffee then that would be a better idea.

Soup

There’s a reason why soups are served before the main course. Like salads, soup too is often served before the main course. Since soup contains water, it can naturally make you feel full even before you take your first bite. Do make sure though that you do not take soup that is creamy because this can be fattening.
