How to Avoid Becoming a Fitness Failure
There’s nothing worse than trying to get in shape but failing to do so. It takes motivation to start a fitness program and a lot of willpower to stick to it. Unfortunately, more than half of the people who start a fitness program drop out within a few months if not less. Busy schedules, lack of motivation, and plain old laziness are just a few reasons many people quit their fitness routines. Here are a few tips you can use to stick with your fitness program.

The first step to take in sticking with a fitness program is to set a goal for yourself. If your goal is to lose weight, decide and write down the number of pounds you want to lose. Make your goal clear so you’re not guessing on whether you’re making progress or not. Make your goal realistic. Losing 1-2 pounds per week is a realistic goal. Shedding 25 pounds in one month may be possible but not a realistic one. 1-2 pounds of weight loss a week is a conceivable and healthy goal to achieve.
